Targa top question.

84 vette... After a week of driving the front torx bolts loosen up on the targa top. I know because the top starts to rattle and I can feel the car flexing more. Then I tighten them down, and all is good for another week. Oddly though, I only drive the car about 20-30 miles per week. Is this common?

not on my 96...tighten them once and they stay until next time I want to take the top off...which isnt very ofter.......once or twice a year....

Not with my 95. I take the top off A LOT, but when I put it on I do not have a problem with the bolts backing out.

Mine did this a lot, also an 84. I put a little teflon tape on the bolts and basically filled the wear on them, worked great, Cheap fix.

i dont know if this would work but could you use lock washers on them
