Does the 1993 have a BCM and if so, what is it's location?

Nope definitely mean ECM... this is the Body Control Modlue (C-5 has and some C-4's I have been told) I am supposed to be looking for a 10 pin blue connector that comes off of the BCM - I have found a 10 pin blue connector behind the glove box (also where it should be located) then I am to find the dark blue wire (pin E reportedly) but the dark blue wire on my connector is Pin C (of course the other side of the connector does not have anyhting connected at Pin C (not sure of any jumpering within the connector). This has been a very frustrating car repair weekend.

Believe it's called the CCM and should be directly above and forward of the radio.

Get a hold of a factory service manual, it makes finding the right wires fairly easy. Fortunately most CCM wires are accessable at the passenger lower dash.

BCM's are usually a little harder to find just due to the fact that you can obviously alter the vehicles mileage by changing it out. The manual may not give the location up. Perhaps stop in at a local dealer and see if they can show you on a microfiche where it is located. just a thought; good luck!

CCM ~central control module is the name used early 90's, now referred to as BCM Body control module.

center console, behind radio. access from drivers knee bolster area. they are rare and usually sold on a repair and replace basis.

did you pull codes from it?
