Default Cheap tire source

Hey gang,

Just thought i'd pass this on, as i remember a thread a while back looking for cheap-ish tires.

www.edgeracing.com has Hankook Ventus (treadwear 340) for $81 in 275/40/17 size. Didn't check the front tire size, but $81 is killer. Cheapest i've seen before that was Sumitomos at $120 or so...

You have to search by size, as the Corvette isn't listed in their model search.

later,

Mike k.

That is a very good deal for tires. The only bad thing is I don't trust Ventus Tires. With that said if I was looking for a good burnout tires that would be at the top of my list.

Lower speed rating. Keep in mind that our cars came with Z rated tires.

Look here for tire rating info.

Though you will probably not drive 149 mph, H rated tires do not meet the OEM specs.

Just saying so your decision is based on more than just the price.
