What % tint for rear window
I gets so hot here in south Alabama that I think Im going to tint my windows to help keep the heat out, but I want to be able to see clearly out of the rear view mirror at night.
What tint % do you guys suggest?

5% is too dark to see out of clearly at night - I have that on my one Vette.
20% is more realisitic, while still very dark
anything less, you are not going to really have that "tinted look"

FWIW there are laws on how dark you can go...I can't find the link right now but run a google search and you should find the list...I like them as dark as I can get but that cost me a ticket for being too dark on the side windows...good luck

5% easy. At night it is dark, but not too dark that you can't see IMO. Plus it really helps when an SUV or truck behind you with bright lights. I haven't had to flip my rear view mirror because of head lights since I got the tint.
I got 20% on the sides, which is a smooth transition from no tint to really dark tint.
