I guess I'm a natural look myself, but I'd sure like some polished aluminum valve covers. It's hard to find a quality cover that fits the 92 LT1. The driver's side has to fit under the A/C Alt bracket.
Don't like chrome in an engine compartment. I've known several folks who started out putting a little here and there, and next thing I knew, they would not drive the cars because it messed up the chrome!!!

I think the concensus here is that chrome, for it's own sake, can get to looking kind of cheesy real fast. Some nice looking engines in this thread, hope it gives you some ideas. They all look better than just a bunch of chrome, IMHO.

My plan is to put on some polished '63 valve covers and paint everything else satin black. No need to draw attention to any of the other parts in there that don't do much.
