Default interior color codes

Anybody know where I can find the color code for the interior of my 84? I need to get some dye to touch up a few places. I looked at the rpo codes but can't tell if one of then is it or if it is somewhere else.

If you can find a copy of the build sheet, it will be listed on there. Also, on my '87 there are codes listed on the inside (bottom) of the center console lid. For mine, the codes are 12I = Graphite interior, 122 = Graphite Leather (seats).

Try Mid America http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=1.3473 $12.99 a can. What color is your interior? If you can't determine the correct color code from their site, post it and maybe one of us will be able to give you the color code ie, 15c= medium gray cloth, 622S/L is saddle leather, etc

Its either medium gray or medium blue. I cant tell which. I don't know if this is the right code, but at the bottom of my sticker with the rpo codes is,
BSE/CLR COAT WA L8555 U8555

If all else fails, you can get a reprint of the original window sticker and build sheet from the National Corvette Museum's website. I recently got these plus a copy of the dealer's brochure and the Corvette Black Book for my '85. Total cost was $85 and it came in about 2 weeks (they said it would take 6-8 weeks). Lots of good information in these items.

I'm not sure what the numbers you list are. According to the Corvette Black Book, you are looking for one of the following:
15C=Medium Gray cloth
15V=Medium Gray sport seat cloth
152=Medium Gray leather
28C=Medium Blue cloth
28V=Medium Blue sport seat cloth

Where would I find those numbers at? On the rpo list inside the back compartment, there are a lot of numbers but none even close to that.
Its not a big thing. I just thought I could touch up a couple of small spots. I didn't think it would turn into such a pain
Anyway, thanks for your help.

Here's another possibility; best if you have a small piece of the color you want to match and send it to them. I've found if you just give them the car's color codes the match will be off slightly because leather dye lots vary, colors change with wear and time, etc. They matched the saddle color leather in my 17 year old Allante where I used it on door panels, shift ****, steering wheel, and replacement leather seat inserts. I've since used it in black on the seat side bolsters in our '96 CE where they wear and on the black streeing wheel and shift boot in my '93 ZR-1. Their service and quality are second to none. On my '85 it is on the sheet in the compartment behind the driver's seat. It is the last number on the second line on mine.

My car originally had a bronze cloth interior. It is now all black leather (not even offered in '85). I would never have known without checking the numbers.

Good luck!!
