Anyone know roughly what a stock 89 Vert Auto runs? My friend with a 2000 GT 5Spd stang thinks I can beat him, but i don't think so 
His car should be in the low 14's high 13's. Hopefully my opinion changes when the new Torque Conv goes in

If you have base 2.59 gears I would say low 14s.
Toss the frisbee from the front of your water pump pulley, cut the air filter lid and add a K&N filter, and install cut-back spark plugs to get into the high 13s, if you can hook it up.

His car should be in the low 14's high 13's. Hopefully my opinion changes when the new Torque Conv goes in .My brother-in-laws 2001 Mustang GT 5 speed ran a best of 14.02. He is very inconsistent as my car will run 14.1-2 all day long while his goes from 14.1 to 14.5 and back.
His stang is unusual because most Mustangs GTs at the tracks around here run high 14s and low 15s. It will be close!!
