If I got the 3.07's from 2.59's and a 2200 Torque Conv would it be worth the money in 1/4 times? Its completely stock conv. Or would the 2200 Stall be enough? Man i'm going crazy over this.

I'm assuming you don't want to go too overboard so start with the 3.07s, it will be a noticable difference and it'll still cruise nicely on the interstate. I'm not sure how much convertor your car has from the factory but the 2200 may not be that much af a change. I'm still running a stock one in my LT1 which I'm told is about a 1400 but I've heard that at least some years of L98s are about 2000. Many seem to like a 2400 and say it has little effect on normal driving. I'm sure someone with firsthand knowledge will fill us in.

A 2400rpm stall TC will have a MAJOR effect on normal driving! I'd advise driving a car with a high-stall (even a 2000rpm unit) before going to the trouble of R&R'ing the TC. You may not like it.
I put one in my truck and took it out two weeks later...couldn't stand it. But this is a very personal thing....
Generally, if you haven't made modifications to the engine that kill the low end you won't see a benefit with a higher stall TC. A HSTC brings its own set of problems.
Hmm I think I will start off with the 3.07 gears. I don't care for the gas mileage thats my least concern. Maybe the 3.07's will be good enough.
Now what exactly would I need to do a complete gear swap?
Thanks guys

You might just keep your eyes open for someone selling a complete diff. here on the forum. The D36s go very reasonably and could be bolted in a few hours, not complicated at all compared to a gear swap. I'm pulling mine out soon for a D44 but am hanging on to it for possible installation in my Model A. Also, re/ drivability of convertors, I've read here on the forum that this varies greatly by brand for a given stall. This seems to be one of the reasons so many swear by the Vigilante. Definitely start with the gears though, you'll like them as a good all-around gear. With the low gear ratio in a 700R or 4L60E they are the equivalent of a 3.73 in a TH350 or TH400 equipped car on launch.
