I use mothers back to black on my molding, but it doesnt last as long as i would like. I have seen this Forever black before but dont know how good it is.
Got a sampler kit from SEMA a couple years back. Stuff works great (IMHO). The sampler came with stuff for trim, wheels and even a bottle to renew the rino lining in your truck -- tried all three, truck bed looked great, tires and trim on my Vette looked as good as new and it lasted for months. I still use it today.
I use it, it works pretty well, and lasts fairly long. It reminds of Kiwi liquid shoe polish, which is what it probably is!!! I just tried Stoner trim renewal spray on my wife's car, which is where all products are tested (!) and was very impressed. I sprayed it on, but you can also spray it onto a cloth, then wipe onto the moulding. I don't know about the durability, because I just tried it.....
WHat about painting the molding with some black paint?
It will most likely flake off and look worse. I'm telling ya, Meguiar's trim detailer. Costs like $6 and last for a couple of weeks before you'll have to do it again, and it will take you like 10 minutes. You just put it on a rag and rub it in.
