Default How to spend $600?!?!

I've got about 5-600 bucks I wanna throw towards the Vette. My mods to date are a modest few on my LT4 - K&N and Corsas. I live in Cali, so long-tubes are a no-no... In terms of go-fast goodies, I don't know what I could pick up that'd be worth it for that little amount of money, so I was thinking about suspension stuff. In my MAD catalogue, I see the Camber brace (engine bay), x-brace (underneath), and cross-bar w/camera mount (cargo area). In terms of price, I was thinking about the camber brace... What's everybody think? Also, what's the deal with upgrading swaybars? This usually seems like a pretty common thing to do when upgrading suspension, but i don't see anything of the sort in the MAD catalogue.

At any rate, I'm not limiting myself to suspension mods/upgrades. Those were just my initial thoughts. I'm open to any suggestions you all have for parts and/or accessories for the vette.

Camber brace or 1.6RR would be my choice, or maybe polygraphite bushings.

LT4's already have 1.6 RRs stock so don't worry about that...the only upgrade you could do there would to go form the 10mm stock studs to 7/16's...and with everything else stock there is just no reason.

The camber brace is a nice peice, from what I hear, I've never seen one in person, but everyone raves about the RD Racing unit.

I did the upgraded sway bars on mine, with poly bushing and heim joints. It really made the car sit flat in the corvers, very little to no body roll, without affecting straight-line compliance...it's a nice mod.

Aaron...do you have a short shifter yet? You might want to consider the Hurst or B&M. I have the B&M and love it...some people like the Hurst better, I have yet to drive one though so I can't comment on it.

For a somewhat stock LT4, I go;
1. 4.09 Gears (maybe out of price range)
2. Short-shifter
3. Suspension

But that's just me!

Jay - thanks for the lengthy reply, man! Good to hear from ya'... I think I may just do the gears down the road after all, but for now, the brace may be a way to go for me. The roads up here in San Jose are a helluva lot curvier than in Phoenix, so I'd get some good use out of it! The short-shifter's a good option, too, and one that I hadn't thought of yet. Thanks again!
