Keeping cool
On the way home from work my 96 started running alot hotter. Temp hit 209. I am running 160 stat and hypertech programmer. On the highway it came down to 194. It usually runs 174- 185 . I let it cool down and after dinner took a flashlight and looked to see if there is an obstruction. Sure enough there is a medium sized styrofoam cup wedged in front of the condenser. Go figure that cup made things get hotter.

Ya know I had that happen to me once,picked up a grocery bag in the middle of summer.Temp shot up to 240.thankfully nothing happend.i'v rebuilt it sence.can't wait to hear it.

Ya sometimes it would be worth every penny to put a little remote camera in there to see obstructions and how close your getting to high curbs when parking.
I hate it when your going at speed and run over a floating piece of garbage, then trying to see if it ends up out the back...
