Gear Swap
I have an 86 Automatic with gear option GU-2 and want to change to 3.73 gears. I have been told:
1) they no longer make these gears for an 86
2) they are available but make alot of noise
Evidently it is difficult to find this set for such an Automatic with the Overdrive feature.
Where can I find a set of 3.73 gears that will work?

How can you not find 3.73's for a Dana 36?! They are everywhere.

Like Wildman said, unless the engine is heavily modified, 3.07's are a better choice.
