Car Storage
One is I've disconnected the ignition coil wire and turned the motor over for 10-15 seconds to prime the oil pressure. (You might want to make sure your battery is charged fully and probably should leave it hooked to an Automatic charger during this procedure)
I've also, (More on long term storage) taken the plugs out and squirted some Marvel Mystery Oil or WD-40 into the cylinders (let it soak)...then turned the motor over w/o the plugs in(to prevent fouling)...then reinstalled the plugs.
With only 4 months, I don't think it's necessary to go to any real extremes.
Just check all your fluids and I'd probably turn the motor over with the first method I described above.
I also use "Sta-Bil" fuel treatment before I put a vehicle/any engine away for a long term rest.
Best of luck.

1) check the oil level (changed the oil right before storage in the fall)
2) fully charge the battery
3) check level of all fluids & top off if needed
4) put key in ignition
5) start car
6) grin big
and drive off
I do have a heated garage and a 4 post lift to keep them toasty (& cozy) all winter long. The stable temp of the garage helps reduce the condensation and resulting moisture damage to the cars.
I still think it's ok for them to sit for 3-6 months w/out moving if properly prepped for storage, even w/out a heated garage.
