Cross-Frame

I have a 1995 Coupe and wanted to know if anyone had installed Cross-Frame from r-dracing.com. what are your thoughts, concerns etc... Did it take away the body flex, and shakyness when the Targa Top is off ?

I bought one last spring for my 95 coupe. It does help with body flex and to me if feels like the suspension is taking most of the beating over bumps instead of the frame. Besides that, Dave is a top-notch guy to deal with. I would recommend it.

So, do out think that Cross-Frame will not take away the shakyness when the Targa Top is off ? Both Windshield and stearing shake with it off. Other than that, the car rides great when the Targa Top is on.

The cross-frame won't totally eliminate the shakyness with the top off but it does make a noticable difference. I'm keeping mine.

What about ground clearance? Also can you see it underneath car from a side view?

You can see some of it in the rear. I think you loose about 1/2 or 1" of ground clearance. I've seen it on a couple of cars and at Dave's shop when I got their S/T Frame Support installed.

I plan on getting the Cross Frame soon.

I understand that the frame that goes on in place of the top is better at preventing flex, but I think it looks awful. I want x-frame for mine: saving my pennies....
