Rim Cracked
My rear passenger side tire was going flat on me every 2-3 days. I took it to a tire shop and they couldn't find anything wrong with the tire, so they sent me on my way. I got home and heard air coming from the tire. Upon further investigation I found a small hairline crack in the outer edge of the rim. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? If not, does anyone have some suggestions on some websites to find another rim. I am looking for an original style rim for my 1989 vert. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yes it can, Wheels America can repair most anything you have. I had a 87 Ford Ranger that had after-market wheels that were out of production. Slide into a curb trying to miss a older Lady that pulled out in front of me and screwed up the wheel bead. Sent it to their Dallas plant and it came back looking brand new. The bead was cracked on it. Saved a bunch of money. Below is their site address, they do great work. 24 Hour turn around time. Check them out
