Whats the weirdest thing you have found to date?
Good question. I've dealt with a lot of junk, parts cars in my time and other than scoring some tools every now and then, I guess the occasional "tacky" magazine, if you know what I mean! If I remember anything else I'll add it. I know someone who once found a substantial amount of cash in a junker. Also years ago, I worked at a nice, little family garage that had a little junk yard out back. There was an old character who hung around who had "first dibs" on anything brought in. He'd scarf through all the new arrivals and get the change. He was a life-long friend of the owner so it was okay!
Believe it or not. A fully loaded clip to a 9mm handgun!!
I beleive that! A friend of mine used to work at the Nissan Dealership here, and they got a trade-in once, I believe it was from a salvage yard or something to that effect. Well, when my friend wen to go through it, he found a fully loaded 9mm under the seat!!
The weirdest thing I've found in my vette, was a business card from the original owner, along with a few old school pens.
A dozen .22 rimfire cartridges, $1 in change, and three (count em) large garbage bags of freeze dried french fries, 3/4 eaten big Mac's, paper and plastic cups, crumpled paper napkins, paper bags, rags, and DIRT. Then when I tried to drive the borrowed car, the front rotors were worn COMPLETELY through.........gave it back and kept the $1 in change.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I once found an expensive lady's watch in a car I had while taking the console apart. Had it repaired and gave it to my (then) wife. Okay, I know it's not as good as the gun and dope stories! I knew this was gonna be a fun thread!
I found an 8"x10" hole in the passenger floorboard of my 85 coupe
LOL sucks man..... i found like 2.50 in quarters, the remote to my head unit tht camewith my car, and lots of ghettofied wiring i had to fix. ( speakers)
I had been driving a '84 300ZX for two years back in '88 and when I pulled the seats to replace the carpet I found a Crack pipe and some rock. I worked for the local PD at the time and tested it and it was Cocaine. If you have bought your car used, it might be a good idea to check for this kind of thing. I will even go as far as to have a K-9 sniff out a used car before I drive it too much. "No your honor, That Crack was already there"
