Well, a true sign summer is over. I had to put the car in the garage and say good-bye! I started school again today and my baby is two hundred miles away. I'll probably have it out once more over Labor Day, but after that, man it is really over. Anyone else have to say good-bye for the year?
You just reminded me::: Boy I'm glad school is over with for me.
But, The company I work for wants me to learn a new operations system in a few weeks-absolute torture. I should be a professional actor--I act like I'm interested.
I'm in the national guard with an ex-navy submarner, he shared a little saying with me..."it's not gay when you're underway" i don't know what that means, but that's why i'm in the AIR guard!!

That's Hysterical!! oh man....Well, anyway, my car is staying right on the road till Halloween. First snow, it's away till April!
well the lot i'd have to park it in is two miles away, i have some pretty involved lab classes (i'm a chem major) and it'd be sitting out in the sun, rain and idiot college students driving around. i'd rather put it in a safe place and have it to drive next year, rather than having to do cosmetic repairs.
the good news is you'll know the vette will be ready for you. i have mine under cover for about half the winter, take it out on the nicer dry sunny days.
I live in South Florida and our normal day gets up to 90+. I hate the heat being a runner and I'm not sure my vette likes the heat either. I
guess I should keep my mouth shut and be thankful I can drive 12 months a year.

I have a perfect solution to the one's that have to store their vette's during the winter. Just let us southerners borrow them for the winters and well store them for you (too drive of course)
yep im putting mine away this weekend, needs tires and insurance is due. I just dont feel like spending the 1000 bucks for both just to drive it for another 2-3 months before i put it away for winter.

I started school yesterday and noticed something bad... they added a lift of asphault to the parking lot, it's now too steep to bring in the vette with out some serious scraping. That and I don't trust these damn hippies and their bumper stickers Plus I know how they park...
