Default CAGS question

If the previous owner of my CE installed the CAGS bypass would the" One to Four" light still pop up? I could have sworn I saw it on but was still able to slip it into 2nd gear.

The light will still illuminate but since the solenoid is bypassed you'll be able to shift normally.

The eliminator looks like a stock plug and is hanging on the passengers side of your transmission, (under the car).
