Default Torque setting?

Is there a torque setting when putting on the solid and glass roofs?

Well I think its kind of strange becaue they do give torque values in the book but talk about using the rachet? That makes a whole lot of sense. Anyway the front captives are 17.5 Nm and the rear locator screws are 15 Nm. I just tighten them to they stop.

If your talking about the holddown plate bolts (screws) both front and rears are 27 Nm but those are only loosened when putting on a new or refurb top to make adjustments to fit and you have to remove the front trim to get at them.

I think common sense is the correct setting. If it was that critical, they would have given us cute, little 4" torque wrenches.....
