The ignition coil should only run you less than $15 at autozone. The bottom of mine was all crusted over..i have no clue how that thing ever got a spark out. MIne had some of the same issues, If your IAC has gone south, it may not be moving as required, your engine is receiveing too much or not enough air and won't start and or idle. A cheap one at autozone is less than $40 I think. Definitely check the ohms on your injectors. Here in Dallas, Sears is selling a craftsman digital multimeter for only $9.99, just came out in a sale add. I bought one for about $20 a year ago, and use it on everything.

Start with the ignition coil. Double check all your spark wires.
I think I would use a can of starter fluid and spray it into the intake. If it starts with this you know you have spark and compression. If it did not start I would use a good spark tester to be sure the spark was hot (blue/white). If spark is good I would check timing. (I know it runs good sometimes but some problems are weird). My brain hurts so I'll stop here for now.
Is the '90 a MAF or S/D car. If it is a MAF car, try unplugging the MAF and see how it runs. The ECM will read the tables instead if the signal from the MAF. If this is the case in your case then look into the MAF or MAF Relays.

Just trying to help.
90 is speed density.
I still feel the fuel system is where your gremlins are. I at least think you should stop throwing money and parts at it and buy/borrow some diagnostic tools and go down the list of my previous post
I had read in here that they were not good but the guys a MAD convinced me that ACCEL has resolved the problems with a new design. Since I have other ACCEL components I went ahead and gambled and got them and 2k miles later she still runs GREAT!! I got the 24lbs.per hr. for my 90 l98 and with my chip and other small mods it runs real good. We'll have to see if they hold up.
