Check with "ZFDOC" (or similar) on this forum about your tranny fluid. One of the guys in our local (Spokane) club drove to his state (?) for a 6-speed rebuild then reported on his experience. First Rate!
He also said to only put 2 bottles of fluid in - not 2.2 - because it gave a little room for expansion. That's second-hand information, not first-hand, but you should be able to find out here on the forum.

There is a ton of room in there for expansion. Think about it, when you fill it, it's only about 1/2 the case. And there is a vent tube for pressure to release from.
The capacity is 2.2 QUARTS. The annoying part is that 1 litre = 1.05 quarts, hence, 2 litres is 2.1 quarts. argh.
And when it is filled, make sure the car is level. Otherwise, you might underfill it.
