IMHO, the front end kit does not supply the necessary parts to properly lower the front end. Here is why. Once the upper side of the rubber mount is trimmed off flush to the spring, the spacer provided in the kit is glued into the same place to rubber was just removed. Although easier said than done, one could not cut off ALL of the upper rubber mount. Simply leave a 1/2 inch of rubber remaining. The real problem comes with the two steel mounting brackets that you unbolted to removed the spring. These need to be "shortened" to accomodate the rubber material removed from the mount. Or, you can use the shims provided in the kit. I instead chose to shorten the legs of the mounts. I believe that 5/8 inch of material was removed and the brackets were welded back together. The front dropped almost 1.5 inches. Any more than this, and you'll run out of suspension travel and rub tires on the underside of the hood.

Good Luck -JRC-
