Something that size will have to go by truck,UPS,Fed Ex etc won't handle it.

A box the size of 42.5" x 5.5" x 34". You'll need some styro-foam ends and a 'Z' folded piece of cardboard the width that sits in the bottom the top rest in. Or something make shift.
If its a transparent roof it weight 34 lbs packed. FedEx will take it ground or air, drop the .5 inches off the dimensions when they ask. 3 day saver air will run you about $60. UPS is about $26. for ground.
If you can't find a box like that call Melrose T-Tops and see if they will sell you a box and ship it empty with packing to you.

I think he's talking about an actual hard top, not the targa top.
I shipped a hard top (targa) from Boston to Texas.. That was NOT fun getting packaged.. I panicked until I got the email that it arrived safely.. Went via UPS.
