Paint Question
Well.....it's that time now and my clear coat's startin to crap out. (I can tell in minor areas and the rain just makes it worse). Where I live, everyone tells me clear coat is crap and they don't recommend it for AZ weather. My paint job was actually done with a metallic paint under the clear coat which is startin to crap out from a mixture of the sun and the acid rain out here. It's lasted well over 3 years, but the last owner had it done. I was told I should stay away from clear coat and I should stay away from any metallic sparkle paints as the sun bakes em out. I'm planning on getting a high gloss paint job jet black with no clear coat, but just wanted to know if any of you had this done...especially any vetters and/or c4 owners in AZ and how it came out price and quality etc, aswell as any recommendations of where I should go. I'm not looking for anything super extravagant, just something that looks smooth, possibly glossy and very black and lasts a good while. TiA
