My son who is eleven just bought a 1984 from my wifes boss. It's a really cool looking car but needs work. It would'nt start without putting gas directly in the carb. But after aliitle detective work it is apparent Bubba has struck again!!!
I knew he had worked on my C3 but never dreamed he had time to mess with this car aswell. It seems we aren't getting fuel because he cut the fuel pump relay out. Only left wires hanging.I have ordered a wiring chart but does any one know where to get a new female connector.
Can't locate one in any of the catalogs.

Thank's in advance, Stuart
I really don't think an 11 yr old should be driving a Corvette...
Your right this car does not have a carb but it does have a fuel pump relay. Could'nt find a pigtail so we used spade bits and it started right up.
And yes my son is eleven and paid for the car with money he has earned mowing lawns. Several years ago we redid my 1980 and it has been a great father son project. We go to all the shows and do real well. I can't think of anything better than a dad and his son spending quality time together.
Hope his car turns out well we will just have to get mom to drive it to the shows for him. We'll post pics when we get further along.
