Wow
in reference to his dodge neon:
Apparently the SRT-4's are nasty fast and got compact car of the year on some mag. It outperformed the SVT Focus, Mini Cooper, Acura RSX, Nissan SE-R, and others. Hard to believe a Neon beating all those other cars but the proof is in the pudding! I like the bang-for-the-buck factor. It rivals my 03 Cobra in value although in different price ranges. With the RT-4, you spank all other 4 bangers, most 6 bangers, and even some V8's for under $20K. Likewise, for $34K I spank cars like C5 Corvettes, Z06's, non-turbo Porches, NSX's, BMW M3 & M5, and no need to even mention Camaros, 350Z and the like. Not that any of those cars are bad, just more expensive yet slower. And yes, I've spanked at least one of every one of those cars although I'd probably rather have some of them instead of my Cobra

...i dont even know what to get upset about first in this post... so i just left the board to the ricers...

As a matter of fact, he said he can beat the C5 and others, but did not mention C4s. Maybe he didn't meet a C4 yet, or maybe he did and lost!
By the 3rd round there were no more ricers left for me and a guy in a Camaro took out the last ricer. Then it was just us domestics, including a copla Vettes, to scoop up the wins and $$.
Those guys realy need to bring it to the strip to talk up their powers.
However, on the way some kids in a little ricer did impress me. Though we did NOT street race, we did launch hard from a copla lights and, though there were two couples in their car, I had to get onto it a bit more than I expected to stay with them up to the posted limit.
So, yea, some of those little import sedans are beginning to impress me with their performance. Though they do not compete with a lightly modded C4, they indeed are a lot of bang for the $$ in a little all-weather sedan.

I love when they try to race you from a light and you give it just enough throttle to keep at their bumper til they think they are actually winning then hammer down and fly past them like they were standing still...
The look of disappointment on their faces is priceless
