Since there is no real focal point in the "war on terrorism", that war cannot be "won" in the conventional sense. The best we can hope for is to teach them that they will pay dearly for such actions against this country.
Stay well and come home soon to enjoy your Vette.
Very well put. And thank you and all of the great people who are making the world a safer place for my grandchildren and for all of us. God bless and God speed.

Dittos - just let us know. My son-in-law's unit is headed for Iraq from Greenville, Michigan. They are a maintenance U.S. Army Guard unit. The unit was in Desert Storm so this is the second deployment for many of them. I tried to get him to smuggle in a sidearm for self protection but the Army will not let you do that anymore. We settled for some Cobra walkie talkies that many of the guys are taking with them so they can communicate easier on base. I'm sure you know this already but get to know where the closest bunker is at all times and try to keep off the roads.
Eric, a couple of my Airmen are headed your way (again). As I've told them, keep your head low and come home safe -- our prayers and eternal gratitude go out to you
God bless you and your buddies! I'll be praying for you by name. I was a kid involved in a war many years ago. You are an American fighting man, dedicated to the principals which keep our country free.(you know the rest)People were praying for me,now it's our turn to pray for you. get it over with and come back home.
