Default CHEVRON vs. SUNOCO GASOLINE??

I was just in the "C4 SCAN & TUNE" forum and noticed a lot of CHEVRON gas users — I think mainly for the techron in the fuel to maintain cleanliness of injectors, valves, etc. I use SUNOCO gas only because it visibly markets the highest octane gas at 94. Are their other HIGH OCTANE gases besides SUNOCO? What is the general consensus of FORUM members as to the fuel used in their VETTES? SUNOCO-CHEVRON-OTHERS? Thanks in advance.

Living in California and most places on the west coast 91 octane the highest available to us.

I started using the new Shell V-power a few weeks ago and have noticed an improvement. Not neccessarily in fuel economy but in acceleration. This stuff has been doing its job in cleaning the engine.

I am sold on it

I used V-Power once, but I was wondering what others thought of it. I suppose that someone would have to use it consistently to really notice anything though. I don't live by a shell station... or a chevron, for that matter. I am not a Sunoco fan, though. True, they advertise the highest octane, but they also sell the lowest available... and it all comes out of the same nozzle! Besides, Sunoco bathrooms are notoriously dirty here in MI. Shell bathrooms are notoriously clean. That makes me wonder just how well Sunoco maintains everything else... like fuel filters and underground storage tanks. Food for thought...

I like Chevron because of the Techron. If you cant go there very often, you can pick up a bottle of the stuff and run it through with a tank of gas of your choice. Does a good job of cleaning injectors and other things IMHO.
