The 94 cap would have to be modded with a vent kit as they are not interchangable. Recommend you send that job out as the cap needs to be melted for the hole, if you drill it it may crack. Not worth replacing it over having it done right the first time. CF just did a piece on that.

I also have a 4th gen (93) Camaro Z-28 and it is using the first gen opti. The change was in 95.
It was a royal PITA to replace
