Default C4R Wing with or without ground effects?

I have a 96 red Corvette coupe and I'm thinking about putting a Greenwood CR4 wing on my Corvette.

http://www.greenwoodvette.com/gc4.htm

My question is, do you think this wing would look OK if all I put on was just the wing and not a full ground effects kit?

If any one has just a wing on there Corvette, please post your ictures as I would be interested in seeing how the wings look with and without ground effects.

Thanks,
JJ

Check out mine in my profile, its a low profile wing.

the wing looks fine, provided its NOT installed on your vette. i would put the $$ under the hood where it actually counts.

Are you sure this is the Greenwood Wing C4R, the one that is on the white Vette that Chriswtx posted?.

It sure looks taller than the one on the Greenwood website?

I think this silver vette of Chris's looks great. What Greenwood ground effects kit is this? Do you have any pictures of your vette from the rear. If so please e-mail them to me at jpjones7@aol.com.

Thanks,
JJ

The one he posted was the C4R, the one I poster is the G4R. The G4R is off their race car. As for pics check out their site:
http://greenwoodcorvettes.net/gc4/index.htm
I dont have a body kit yet, but I am leaning strongly towards their's...

should like a little like this C4 running in the SpeedGT series, though it's wing is alot bigger, and mounted a lot higher.

why not 2 wings?
http://www.ricecop.com/viewpic.php?p...2820944992e60d

lol, just funnin, thats been beat to death already.
with the greenwood offerings i like the complete kits but dont think the wing alone would blend well.
there is some low deck ones that i like, ecklers sells one in particular that lines up with the body lines.
some things to think about: can you still use your rear view mirror?,is it gonna be a pita to polish around?(especialy with a portercable),can you get a good paint match and mount?
i had a couple 71 mach1 mustangs that both had black on silver striping and flat black deck wings.loved the look.
would like to see a photoshop of a c4 with hood striping and low rear wing to match the striping.

I like the low profile Greenwood wing with no ground effects. I may be a bit biased though ...here's pics of mine.

Hey JJ77
It's a matter of personal preference! If you ask for members opinons you will get just that, Their opinions! Go with what you like! Not what everyone else does. You will be driving it. I personnally think it looks great but like I said it's not my Vette!

For the Price of the G4R kit... Id buy the Callaway aerobody....

I have been trying to get some door skins and side skirts, but the price is so rediculous. The G4R back bumper- $1840 + $400 (for new lights the old ones dont work), the door skins and side skirts $1840... and didnt even want to know anymore

I like the G4r kit just not the front. but for that price it doesnt compare with an Aerobody
