calipers
my 1996 CE front calipers are painted black and the word corvette is cast into the calipers. They look really nice, but are they OM? I have seen many different calipers, but none are cast with corvette in them.

Those calipers came on the CE and the Grand Sport.

I'm totally surprised by the amount of grime on these suspension arms.......gawd eveyrthing for that matter... 
Comeon get to it..Grab the Laquer Thinner and a few towels...it's wasy to reverse that mess!!

So the calipers my CE and the Grand Sport calipers are identical? Is there a difference between these calipers and the J55 calipers or are they the same thing? I've been trying to figure this out for a little while now.

Someone somewhere had posted a link showing the difference in calipers, but I don't remember who it was.

The GS/CE units are supposed to be marginally stiffer than the regular J55s, but otherwise functionally identical.
