gee I has something similar happen
Handed the cop my white pickup truck registration when i was driving
my white car
when i asked the judge to dismiss it since he didnt know the difference
and maybe he misread the radar ,
the judge threatened to charge me with failure to produce the proper registration - bail forfeited

ticket??? are the cops supossed to give you ticket for speeding??? 1 week after i got my vert. i got caught...for doing donuts+leaving the place at WOT....(nevermind the donuts) the cop took my driver license and the rest you dont want to hear it!!!

No Speeding Tickets But Almost One:
2 weeks ago, in the next town, I saw a friend 1/4 mile away and nailed it to catch up to her. Well the Vette took off and-- sirens & lights in back of me [I'm screwed].
Long story short, the cop gave me a ticket for not having a seatbelt on.
I am emabarrassed & will not admit to how many miles over the 25 MPH speed limit I got caught at.
He knew that I had a clean drivers license, and I was a local, so things went well.

No tickets of any kind in the Vette in 4+yrs but i did get pulled over last year for getting a revolution or two on leaving a traffic signal on a local street.
It was one of those days in early spring, after snow had melted and weather was crisp. So he just busted my chops about not being able to let out the clutch properly (on my A4...lol). Anyway, it was a win for me since there was no ticket involved.

12 Corvettes 0 tickets of any kind.

2 speeding tickets in my POS Ford Ltd, none in the vette. Funny, as I ALWAYS speed in the vette, (80-90 on interstates), and the Ford barely runs.
There was that little Exhibition of Speed ticket earlier this year though... :o

well didn't get speeding tickets but I got 3 tickets in 1/2 hr in downtown denver (from the same cop)when it used to be the local cruising area (years ago) was driving my hodrodded 70 camaro and got an improper parking ticket while I waited for my girlfriend to use a hotel restroom. then got a show of power ticket for spinning my tires and a few minutes later got an impeding traffic for going slow talking to the girls in the car next to us...but hey I was young and didn't care

0 in the Vette. I got pulled once for "Chirpping" the tires while leaving a stop light, but he let me go with a verbal warning. He said "Your not what we are looking for" This is a college town and the kids have to behave. and he also said,"You have to be careful, these cars have alot of power."

We could make a good contest out of this. 
Number of tickets doesn't count, but add up the total mph over the limit for all tickets (what you were written up for). Exhibition of speed, and other tire burning violations count as 25 points apiece. 50 points if they impounded your car or took you to jail.
So... my score is 47 points.. in 6 years of driving.
