Dyeing seat belts?
I have a set of grey belts I need to dye red. Anyone have any experience (good or bad) to share on this subject?

I have dyed belts before on my plane. First, you need to remove them completely and use a RIT dye that washes the color-in. Then let them dry completely. Once they are dry, wash them with warm soapy water to remove any residual dye. (important step if you value your clothes) .
They turn out great, if you match the color. Mine were black belts (no pun intended) that had turned slightly green. After I dyed them, they were shiny black. Good luck.
