Has anyone ever replaced (or heard of someone replacing) the leather on the seats with higher quality stuff? And how much should one expect to pay for that?
The local Chevy dealer offerred to convert the cloth seats in my Wife's trailblazer into heated leather seats. He had an after market supplier baased in Detroit. The qualityy was much better than factory. He wanted $1,800 for front buckets and rear bench. We passed

You might want to check out http://www.leatherseats.com. They seem to specialize mostly on converting cloth seats to leather seats. I had a friend with a WRX who replaced his cloth seat covers with leather covers from here, they seemed decent. Not sure how they compare to the original Corvette seat covers, but probably worth a look. Price isn't bad at all (think around $600 for both Vette seats).
I think some dark brown saddle color would look really sweet....maybe something like the color in the King Ranch F150s but with better quality leather. Put that in a polo green or white car
