I got mine from Ebay. It has reinforced corners. The last two OEM ones I had separated and this white grease oozes out. Car has 175K miles now. The white grease seems to get all over everything over time, especially when drying the corners of the hatch where the water collects and the where grease oozes out of the weatherstrip. My new one fits well although it does take some extra effort to close it. Others may condemn the aftermarket ones, I'm trying it out. I just put it on, hopefully it will compress over time.
Just finished this job-Nothing hard, but take your time-DO NOT get that grease on your carpet-it's a bitch to get out. Got mine on ebay, too. Go to: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...931488266&rd=1
Nice quality w/reinforced corners and PRICE IS RITE @$59.00!
I took off hatch lifters one at a time, putting weather strip under each one before reattaching lifters. Easier to work on than using 2x4, broom handle, etc. Be sure to seat w/s all around before reattaching trim pieces. Don't use any adhesive-w/s needs to move a little due to thermal expansion/contraction-also prevents tearing. Good Luck!
