Default Best prices on headers?

WHo currently is offering the best deal on stainless LT headers? How about ceramic coated? While I got the engine out, may as well do ahead and get 'em. For whatever set you decided on, could you let me know what trtade-offs you considered before selecting the ones you did?

I have a '92 Vert and I''l be upgrading the cam to CC 304 or maybe a 305, possibly one from LPE. I'll not be swapping out the intake or anything like that. I'm torn between the $$ for Port and Polish of the heads and the LT headers. I was thinking about some shorties, but it seems the consensus around here is the LT is the way to go for headers.

Long tube Hooker 520-2151-1 1 3/4" ceramic coated. $539 from jegs...

Shorty headers will give you no gains...

Since I'm sure I'll be under 450 HP, wouldn't 1-5/8 headers be better? Still 539 isn't a bad number!

You wanted the best price. The 1 3/4" Hookers are the most popular and have the best price. 1 5/8" headers will cost you $300 more than the 1 3/4"...

I did a search on LT1 and for 92-95
It came up with http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...er+Competition
And these decode to shorty, following the footnotes, number 170 I believe.
What Search criteria did you use?

The 2151 are the long tubes add the -1 for ceramic coated They are listed as 84-90 with no smog attachments. But they will fit the LT1. Do a search on the forum there are a lot of posts on this...
