Does anyone have a copy of their 96 Vette build sheet that they can post or email me? I am thinking about ordering one for my car, but I am not sure what they look like?
Also. I know that GM dyno's the cars before they leave the factory. Any way of getting these kinds of statistics for a particular vehicle? Is this part of the build sheet?
The cars are run briefly on a dyno immediately coming off the line, but they do not record any information nor do they look for specific power outputs. When I saw the test at the plant, the car is hooked up to tesing equipment thru the ALDL and some data is displayed on a number of monitors.
The cars are run thru the gears up to around 70MPH but I don't recall if they run the engine at full throttle. At the point where they do this, the engine has really only run for a couple of minutes before moving under its own power. They visually check some power readouts, coolant temps and most likely to see if the ECM has retained any codes.
Here's a failry poor pic of my 92's build sheet. The lamination reflected the flash and wiped out the contrast:

You might get better info on an newer model than a 93. My build sheet shows dyno and all kinds of good stuff. I picked up mine at the museum and a guy that has worked there told me what all the numbers meant. Turns out i have one of the first 95 built.

No the build sheet is printed after the car is built so the uy at the mueseum said. And my dyno number is on the right hand side in the middle of my sheet. But my sheet looks different than the ones posted on the thread. Maybe newer sheets show where older ones dont.
