I was browsing over on the C-5 side and found this video fo guys running their street cars on TMS. 7 minute video. I thought some of you might enjoy it.

From what I understand, they do this every year for vette owners.(other cars as well) It's some sort of show event. I heard you sign a waiver and you get to go as fast as you would like. Not too sure about that, but that's what I have heard.

I wasn't able to see the video, but the Corvette Club that I used to belong to (Cowtown Vettes in Fort Worth) was/is partially sponsored by TMS. They had a deal whereby the people from the club would volunteer their time to work at the NASCAR and IRL races during the year (crowd control, parking, etc) and in return, the club would get "hot laps" whereby every year, the members were able to take their cars out on the track 5 or 6 at a time.

I was able to take my '94 out for 6 laps and it was a blast...smooth, controlled and man are those banks HIGH!!! We were paced however and couldn't pass the pace car (going about 110). Still a very memorable experience
