I have been looking to buy a c4. I am going to look at a 95 green/tan auto coupe. It has 49k miles, owner is looking for 15...I was thinking 13-13.5. It has Bose, only 1 top the transparent one.
13K-15K Sounds about right but I would try for the lower end, I am not sure what the book is on it but I do know that Kelly Blue book is prob very low and NADA book is prob right on the money. Doesn't sound bad but its not a STEAL.

15K is a bit on the high side for sure. I've seen nice LT4s go for less than that. 13K or so wouldn't be bad due to the low miles. I paid 12K for my '95 a couple of years ago but it had 81,000 miles on it. It was all stock then.
I paid $8500 for my 92 a couple of months ago with 2 tops and the car is near mint but it has 144k on it. Look in my vette pics, its pretty clean so you may want to keep looking. Winter is on the way and there will be some deals to be had cause of the cold and Christmas. The miles are low but thats not everything... I actually would prefer high miles over super super low miles( seals dry out, hoses, and bushings). Mine was a guys daily driver and the miles are mostly highway and he had all of the records.... Mine was always serviced at the dealer (that had to dent his wallet)
I paid 10K for my 95 coupe green/tan automatic most all options and it had 97,000 miles on it. It is clean and (even though the owner did not know) has the Z07 option! Only 344 automatics made with the Z07 option. (Includes ride select (adjustable shocks), wider tires, better springs, front and rear stabilizers, and bigger brakes.) It is probably worth more than I paid! It has has a nice working Delco Gold Series Stereo with cd and cassette, sport seats, dual power seats, and originally came with two tops. I have two but on is in bad shape...anyways.........I think 14K would be a great price if the coupe is clean.

A 1995 at 13000. is a good price with 49000 miles. Make sure you look at everything on the vette. It may help in negotiating the price. The paint, the windshild for little marks from stones, check the wheels(front) for suspension problems, tire tread etc.
Offer 13 and see what happens. It would be good for you, lousy for the seller. Make your offer and see what the seller does. I think 13 - 13.5 is too low and would not accept it as the seller, but if you don't ask, you don't get. You can always raise your offer....you can't lower it.

Hey Ray. For a point of comparison I paid $16 for mine here in Jersey. It's a 1990 auto coupe with 28K miles, brand new Bilstiens, Brand new BF Goodrich's, and brand new Power Effects exhaust (about $1200). I got both tops and all the old parts back.
The car was NEVER in the rain or snow and reflects it. It sat in a garage under a cover most of the time.
Some would say I overpaid, and they are probably right, but I think, and it's just me, that a 90 in the shape mine's in (perfect) with low miles, is probably worth slightly more than what you are looking at. I would have been comfortable at $14 so I think I'm 2K over what I should have paid.
That being said, take your time, look for the right car, when you find it, you'll know, and don't sweat $1500k here or there.
Check RPO codes (option codes) on the storage bin (behind passenger seat) label. Look for G92 G44, that's the performance axle ratio for automatic transmission, 3.07:1 ratio. If it says GM1 then its the standard axle ratio of 2.59:1. The 3.07 cars are quicker and more responsive.

That is the first code I am looking for. I asked the owner and he didnt know what I was talking about. Also I dont want the sport seats, it seems everyone likes them but I hate the way they look. But that is a personal thing.

Just a word of caution, if he doesn't know what the codes are or where their located he probably doesn't know much about C4's. Someone once said he would rather buy a high mileage car from a Corvette Guy than a low mileage car from a guy who owns a Corvette. Find out if he has service records (or where the car was serviced), to make sure it wasn't neglected or abused.
I paid $12,000 for my 96 green/tan auto coupe with 67000 miles on it last year. Good luck with your purchase, I'd offer 12,500 and see what he counters.
