One can only hope that it was a totally junk car before they did this and had too much time on their hands and a spare vette. A few years ago I had a 76 and it needed frame off restoration so it sat here for 3 years and I was sick of looking at it when a friend said "Lets put the body onto a Bronco frame and put 44" tires under it" then I came to my senses and sold it before someone talked me into doing something stupid like this.
looks really silly. why does anybody totally trash up their vette with kit mods like that. for those who aren't vette enthusiasts, they wouldn't even know it USED to be one.....which is of course preposterous and totally unnecessary.
"Oh its a corvette, but it doesn't look like a corvette" doesn't sit very well with me.
Innocent unsuspecting sportscars all over the world must be protected - perhaps an international registry of auto-offenders should be created so that sellers can at least learn what kind of people they are selling to!
I think the 3rd car down (red w/ sawblades) has GS fender flares up front!
I have seen them before on the European exported Vettes built by GM...it also has side marker turn signals...I think it was required by their road laws or something...and a wide narrow license plate area in the back...
