What code on key

Just bought A 93 with one set of keys. I read 3030 ohms across the chip what code # would this be? thanks

To the best of my knowledge only a GM dealer parts department can decode it. And you must prove you own that vehicle to get that info.

They insert the key into a reader. With that info they call a number at GM and it gives them the code.

Any key shop with a GM decoder can get the code for you.

I went to a locksmith store, he knew how to test it.
He also charged me $44 for the key, when you find the code buy the key from Ecklers. [ my vette is an '88].

keys

corvette central has keys for $16 and say the code will be 1 thru 15 and to specify code when ordering.
