Default maintenance

i have a 89 with 50,000 miles it runs perfect and i want to keep it that
way. things i have done new tires,brakes, rotors,replaced the mass air
sensor,cleaned the idle air control valve, major tune up,replaced the
intake gaskets can not stand oil leaks getting ready to replace the
surpintine belt is there any other things i should be doing?

Looks like you have things under control - You mentioned "major tune-up" , which I'm sure included a gas filter?
Have you flushed your entire cooling system?

Did you flush the brake fluid and replace it with fresh? Good idea that I still need to do.

Three things I've done recently were not on your list:

Differential fluid replaced
Throttle body cleaned
Power steering fluid changed

Next on the list for my '87 is suspension (Replace shocks & bushings). I also plan to check ball joints, tie rod ends, links, etc.

I think this type of stuff typically gets overlooked on 15 year old vettes!

Default Flush all fluids

About six to eight months ago, i flushed all fluids---coolant flush, transmission flush, rear end and power stearing fluid flush and last but not least, flush of the brake fluid. Thats just what I did.
