If you mean "40 below" the coolant additive it"s supposed to mix with all antifreeze. However my experience with it was in my streetrod. Within a year after installing it my flocool aluminum waterpump seal went out and the sender for the fan relay was eaten away. I had a sacrificial element in the cooling system so don't think it was electrolisis. I flushed the leaked coolant off the paint right away cause that stuff damages paint.I won't use that product again. A busted hose could cost a paint job
I had been using Dex-Cool in my 85 for about 8 years at which time I added 40 Below. Before the "40 below" this system was shiney clean (radiator internal cooling fins) within 6 months after adding the "40 Below" my cooling system was totally gummed up with this heavy oil. My 4 other cars that use Dex (all with distilled water) never had any problems and always looked very clean . It has to be the 40 Below as far as I am concerned
I called the tech-line number on the can and the guy said it was ok as long as the antifreeze didn't have poly-????(can't remember right now) and Dexcool DID NOT have it. But, I decided to play it safe and stay with just Dexcool.
