Default wheel sizing...

alittle help is needed ? i am looking at new zr1 wheels on e-bay from O.E. DISTRIBUTORS, IN SARASOTA FL. (IF ANYONE HAS ANY DEALINGS WITH THEM...please pass it on) anyway i have a 93 coupe and the wheel sizing has me all confused. i believe mine are 17x8.5 front and 17x9.5 rear. but i haven't been able to find out in my manuals or rpo codes. now comes the question of lug spacing in mill.?? with different size widths. can anyone give me the lowdown on the sizes i can use without using adaptors or anything else. just wanna bolt on and go.
thanks
jim

I purchased Z06 rims from this company and had no problems. See my post in the wheels and tire section.

www.oeconcepts.com is the main site for the wheels you are looking at. Most of the listings on ebay for oe wheels will say "fits all '88 and up corvette" So, the ones youre looking at should be a direct bolt on for your model year. Might as well upgrade to 9.5 front and some nice big rear tires 10.5 to 11...

You can use 17x9.5 all around w/ 275/40/17 tires and you wont have any problems. You'll also be able to rotate your tires front to back since they will all be the same size.

You can also go with 17x9.5 up front and 17x11 out back. You will need 315/35/17 tires for the rear. One disadvantage of this setup is that you're not able to rotate the tires due to the different sizes. If you don't drive the car much this is probably not a concern. 315s will noticeably increase your traction. The 17x11s will stick out a little (1/4"-1/2"), but they look fine. If you do a search you can probably find some pics of such a setup. Good luck!

You need a 50mm+ offset for your year. That's just in case you look elsewhere. With a ZR-1 offset (36mm), the tires will stick wayyyyy out.
