CD/Cassette for early C4
I have seen several posts asking about replacement radios for the Bose. About 5 years ago I bought an Audiovox GC-600 for my 88. To date I have been satisfied and thought I would pass this along if anyone is interested.
It is like any other in-dash radio with AM/FM CD Cassette. It takes 1 CD like most GM radios.
In order to use it in a Bose setup, there are 2 'cans' (i don't remember what they are called but they adapt a normal radio to work with the Bose speakers).
There are several of these on ebay for around $60. The one I got was a grey color, but they do make black (I just discovered). Looks good in the dash and appear to be the ones that MAD used to sell with the exception of the word Corvette on the Cassette cover.
