I have a 96 Collectors Roadster that has every option that was available. Trying to find out how many were built like this. Does anyone have that info or could anyone direct me to a source that would? I am considering selling it and am wondering how scarce these are (with all options). Thanks-Jim
Other than tranny/ engine (for `96),
the only other option available was the suspension;
base FE1, adj-shocks F45, Z-51.
So other than interior color, all Collector Editions had the same options as part of the CE package.
The CE package was a $1250 option, but in addition this car has the Preferred Equipment Group at $1333, the LT4 at $1450, the removable hardtop at $1995, the real time damping at $1695, the Delco/Bose system at $396, the low pressure tire warning system at $325, the EMT tires at $70 and the 6-way passenger seat at $305. To my knowledge that was every option available.

Those are part of the CE package, at the additional charge listed on the window sticker.
Not trying to be argumentative, but no, they were not part of the CE package. They were options that were available on any of the `96s (however in some instances in combination with other options, etc.). The CE package consisted of just the Sebring silver paint, the 17" 5-spoke wheels, chrome emblems and the perforated sport seats with the CE embroidery. Thanks though for the imput.
Collector Edition (PLEASE note there is no "s" after Collector!) RPO was Z15.
From the Corvette Blackbook:
"RPO Z15 included 17" 5-spoke wheels painted silver, black brake calipers with silver "Corvette" lettering, Sebring Silver exterior paint, special emblems, P255/45ZR17 front tires, P285/40ZR17 rear tires, and perforated sport seats with "Collector Edition" embroidery. Total production of 5,412 was divided 4,031 coupe, 1,381 convertible."

The hardtop, LTPWS and EMTs that your CE has are available options.
PEG1 (power driver seat, Electric A/C, and Bose gold cass stereo) &
AG2 power passenger seat,
are both required for the CE package, and will be listed for additional charge.
I was a manager for Chevrolet during MY1996, and I sold 26 new CEs.
This is how General Motors prices their packages. Not all of the options in a package is covered in one price. They are considered required options (for a package) at an additional price.
The sport seats AQ9, were not an additional charge, but were included in the Z15 price of $ 1,250 basically because of the special to CE perforated leather and embroidery.
Also, I have yet to see a CE without the Bose CD/cass stereo.

OK, I'll defer to your expertise on the subject.....I'm just looking at the sticker and going by what it says was included with each item. Now back to my original question....do you have any idea how many cars like mine were built (or anyplace where I could get that info)? Thanks

The site Daniel Mc listed in post #4 had an excellent breakdown of the `96 model year. I had a chance to copy the GS info but didn't get the CE info before the site died.
So this is pure guesstimate of the % of MY1996 production.
fact: 1,381 CE convertibles produced
fact: (excluding the GSs) 5,359 6sp/LT4 of 20,536 total = 26.1%
est: 26.1% of 1,381 = 360
fact: 2,896 w/ F45 RTD of 21,536 total = 13.4%
est: 13.4% of 360 = 48
fact: 429 w/ hardtop of 4,369 verts = 9.8%
est: 9.8% of 48 = 4 or 5
Remember this is a guesstimate, but I would say you have a rare one based on option breakdown.
