I know this is a bit high for a 93 Ruby coupe auto trans , $20K , but the car is very clean and in very good shape. Only 15K original miles and he is the second owner. He has all original dockuments and papers from the original owner. He started at 24.5 K and I offered 20K. I was concerned with the tires only 15 K miles but no signs of any dry rot or cracking. Underside is spotless and the engine compartment is clean. Inside , no tears or wear on the seats or rugs.. Been garage kept. What do you think ? Still waiting for the person to buy my 88. I have the VIN and hopefully someone can run it for me. Does anyone have the Ruby web site Thanks
Ruby is a KILLER color. Ask yourself 2 questions. 1st What are the chances of finding THIS car in THIS shape again? If the car is local you're going to be hard pressed to find one that nice that close to you. 2nd Is this THE car you want? If this is indeed what you're looking for do you think you're gonna find another? Again, if the car is local it takes ALOT of hassle out of the process. May be worth the premium price.

Seems a little high to me. However it is your money and if you love the car that much go for it. Seems like youve been sitting on the fence on this for a while.
its only money.those are beauties.you might feel better about the price if you look at the window sticker price on it.your getting it for 1/2 the cost of new and its only been used 15k miles or 1/10th of its potential mileage.
buy it,enjoy it,and just forget the buy in price.think of all the mods you wont have to do since its a clean low miler.
I look at 30 vettes before I purchased my 94. The price to I thought was high, BUT when I seen it ,I knew it was what I had been waiting for. Go with your gut............
To get a pristine c4 you will have to pay in the 18k-22k range.....with those miles and that cond. 20k is not a steal but it's not over priced either....how many times do you see a friggin 93 with 15k miles???
my 95 vert had 33k now I bought it last year with 29k miles on it and paid 21k for it but it's in perfect shape and it helped that my dad was the original owner so I knew everything about it.
If I were you and wanted a ruby I would get this one it sounds like a cream puff and for something you're gonna want to baby thats what you want you won't think about the money after you get in it and start enjoying it!
look at it this way this guy took the hit and bought it new when it was 40k (think thats the price for a coupe on avg) and preserved it keeping it in great shape and low miles for you to buy now for half the price! GET IT
I vote with the "too much money" side of the isle. You can find reasonably low mile newer for that and lower prices. C5s can be had for that if you look hard enough.
I spotted a 93 Torch red coupe here in Orlando on a Big Chev dealers
lot for $12,900 not sure what kind of shape it was in. but it only had 29,000 miles.
Some might think that 20K is too much but your getting a beautiful vette with 15K miles. If that is the car that i wanted and it was close by and I knew the history , I wouldn't look much further. You might find a better deal but you might have to travel across the country just to go look at it.

I had a Carfax run and it came back clean. The present owner is the second owner of the car. You're right, it's right here in by backyard and not several states away.
