You have a Dana 36. Dana 44 have an 8.5" ring gear. 3.07's were smaller than that.

I believe I have verified the meanings of all of the RPO Codes on my '89 C4 with the exception of 1AZ. Although that code is somewhat confusingly "defined" in at least one previous post in this thread, it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the GM list above. RPO Code 1AY seems to mean a dealer ordered car, so I am inclined to believe that RPO Code 1AZ means a factory ordered car? Can anyone verify the meaning of RPO Code 1AZ?

My 91 came with Delco stereo/cassette, RPO um6. The Bose system with CD is U1f, I believe. The GM list of rpo's confirms that um6 is cassette, delco. I see this mistake often, maybe the original thread was copied wrong. tnx

HELP clear up my confusion please.
I was looking at the RPO codes shown above posted by "Bogus" for a C4.

I just happen to be shopping today for (hopefully) the correct VSS for my 1993 w/AT & overdrive.
The number I was given is supposed to be for code "D8L" part # 10456092 (SC51)

This does not seem to agree with anything in the code shown above. Why is that?

Are those codes posted above wrong? .... or is the VSS part number I'm looking to buy wrong??

Whoops... UPDATE I see the correct codes posted by QUACK now.. and they agree with what I have...

my 96 CE lt1 has a G93 code. cant find it anywhere

its a g92, i mis typed on a previous list
