Default Magnaflow Catback

Anybody know where I can get the best price for the Magnaflow cat-back system for my 89? Seems I can't use the coupon code vetteforum anymore at HottExhaust.com which is a bummer because I think they had a really good price including free shipping w/ the coupon.

I've heard lots of good things about the MF system....anybody displeased with theirs???

Corvette Central may be a great place to start.

You shouldn't spend anything to have them installed. Do it yourself.

I backed the vette up on my set of ramp, to give the the clearance I needed. Had the old one off, and the new ones on in about an hour. Another 15-30 minutes of fiddling with the clamps to make sure the tips were straight, and i was done.

This has to be one of the easiest bolt-on jobs for any do-it yourselfer.

Default mag 40's

I have flowmaster 40's on my 89 which it came with and I really wouldn't buy them again. There is way to much resonation in the car and the car sounds more like a dang truck cruising down the road. They sound good when I jump on it though. For the price of them I would rather just buy an old time glass pack especially when I found out how much they cost. To me they are just a way over priced muffler. I wonder do the magflows sound better?

Haven't heard of Magnaflow "40's". I know Flowmaster has a 40 series, but I don't think Magnaflow does...

Yeah...I didn't see one either...I did, however, check out www.corvettecentral.com and they have several magnaflow products that fit the 92. Check it out.

Default sound clip

Is there a sound clip of the system on a C4? The Magnaflow site has a clip for the C5 only if I'm not mistaken....

For LT1 you can only buy the mufflers and you'll need to cut your stock exhaust.

Part # is 15623

I've attached a pic, I forget who's car it is.
