I have a chance to get a Charcoal Metallic 1991 B2K. I had a 96 LT4 before my current C-5 so i'm not new to the C-4 but would like some input as what to look for & what questions to ask. I'm going to see and drive it on tuesday so I will take lots of pictures and post them

P.S. B2K = Callaway TT
What are some of the other details about the B2K? 1991's are unique in some regards, compared to other years -
What have you found out so far about the car?
Vaccum lines and oil and coolant hoses MUST be inspected - they are now 14 years old and the heat from the turbos takes its toll - Check to ensure all clamps are tight and the intercoolers up top are sitting snug
The car should reach 54-55hg's on the boost guage and hold
I was kida looking for some B2K owners to chime in but none did well i'm still going up on tuesday and i'm taking the vette god from my club so we will have to wait and see. I will post some pics and the results on wed Thanks for your post and follow up, any and all help is great. The price on this car is low and I'm really but I dont want to get screwed

If you are looking for more feedback from B2K Owners (Which I am one )try asking your question here:Callaway_Corvette_Forum
I know you probably do not want to post too much info right now specifically about the car - If I can be of any help otherwise, feel free to ask

That's exactly what I'm thinking, I dont want someone to take it out from under me There are some of those people Lurking around here ya know! THx for your time and posts *89x2* I dont know too much about the car other than price and location.
Well 89X2 is IMHO one of the best B2k/Callaway guys out there.I don't know him other than reading numberous post on here but I attend many Corvette Shows and have owned a B2k car myselfand talked with Reeves many times but if I were in the market for another I'd be asking "89X2" (chris) so many questions until he got tired of me.
Few more details might be better for bring out the comments.
I myself would be all over a B2k car if I found a deal.
Thank you Sir, for the compliment
FWIW, I can't recall a time of ever getting tired talking cars - esp. Callaway Corvettes

I DO know what you mean - While I doubt someone would ever blatently take a car out from under you - a lurker might take advantage of what you know
I am curious though - is it an Aerobody car??
Good luck - and again, feel free to take advantage of the knowledge @ the Callaway Forum - You will find lots of other owners there with insight
This is what's so great about this forum. I have a 91 Coupe, they're talking about a 91 Vette, a Callaway, and I don't know a thing about what it is they're talking about. The amount of information that I'm accumulating is priceless. Can't say enough about this forum.

Yes it is a Aerobody that's why i'm sooooo woried about someone trying to take it out from under me. I talked to the guy today for approx 1 1/2 hrs on the phone, he has a couple vettes but no others for sale. I told him about posting here on the forum and he was lost, he has never been online does not even own a computer
If you have money, I cannot fathom why you aren't all over that!!!
I have the $$$ all set up at the bank and ready to go! I'm just moving slow because its allot of money for a 14 year old car, yes I know B2K's are not going down in value but i'm just very carefull about how I spend my hard earned money.
